Blue Rain Gallery invites you to experience Nos Galan Gaeaf, a haunting and poetic new collection by figurative painter Robin Jones, opening Halloween night in Santa Fe. Named after the Welsh term for the eve of winter, the exhibition explores the mystical threshold between life and death — a time when, as legend tells, the veil between worlds grows thin. Through luminous portraits of young girls set within the misty landscapes of Wales, Scotland, and Brittany, Jones meditates on innocence and wisdom, spirituality and nature, time and transformation. Inspired by her Celtic ancestry and the animistic belief that all things possess spirit, she weaves together myth and memory in paintings that shimmer with presence, emotion, and mystery.
