The Mother Tree

Robin Jones' upcoming exhibition, The Mother Tree, features over fifteen new paintings that explore humanity's interconnection with nature, inspired by Suzanne Simard’s memoir Finding the Mother Tree. Jones uses the theme of “mother trees”—old, central trees in a forest that sustain ecosystems through fungal networks—to reflect ecological and emotional connections. Highlight pieces include Freedom Mandala and Finding the Mother Tree, which symbolize hope and unity. Jones hopes to inspire viewers to reconnect with nature and take responsibility for protecting it.
