Inspired by the breath and power of Buffalo in Taos, the same breath that powers the rock ‘n’ roll within me. When you hear them breathe, it’s a deep, heavy tone that feels like it could push you. On stage, that breath is shared by everyone — the drummer, the bass player, the guitar player, and you can feel the audience breathe it in too. This piece taps into that power, a subconscious connection to the energy of our land and the mighty Buffalo.
