Continuum: Contemporary Native Perspectives through Glass

Blue Rain Gallery Durango proudly presents Continuum, an exhibition celebrating the powerful convergence of tradition and innovation in contemporary Native glass. Following May’s spotlight on contemporary Native American painters, this month we turn our attention to the groundbreaking work of Indigenous glass artists. Join us Friday, June 6th from 5-7pm for the opening of this exhibition in conjunction with Durango First Friday.

This compelling collection illuminates the resilience, creativity, and evolving narratives of Native storytelling through the transformative medium of glass. Featuring renowned artists such as Preston Singletary, Harlan Reano, Spooner Marcus, and Dan Friday, Continuum honors both the trailblazers of Native glass art and the emerging voices they have mentored.
