A cactus sprouts from the top of a furnace-sculpted rock structure. The bulb of the lively cactus is translucent green, with small white beads on its ribs where its spines have yet to emerge. The rock is intricately saturated with hues of yellow, red, and white that swim around the rock. Stark black lines swirl in a configurative pattern, and a small shot of blue is inlaid in surprise. Spooner Marcus' work, as always, is unique and executed eloquently.
