Creature Season was inspired by Navajo pictorial rugs and then using some alien creatures from the Star Wars universe. There is layers of elevation or seasons sectioned off which are all created on the same plane. There’s a winter scene and mountains with a Wampa and a Tauntaun. Then the landscape changes in the middle layer that contains no snow and some vegetation. This layer contains the Rancor monster, a Blurrg and a Luggabeast. The bottom level is similar to the sand dunes of Tatooine with a Bantha (used by the Tusken Raiders), a Dewback lizard (used by the Imperial Stormtroopers) and Jabba the Hutt’s little sidekick Salacious B. Crumb who is eating half of a watermelon. Dispersed throughout the levels are Navajo people going about their daily activities.
