As Roseta Santiago shares in Episode 85 of the Blue Rain Gallery Podcast, the front figure is modeled after a young man from Tesuque Pueblo who, in her words, "radiated a generational look"—a presence that inspired her to portray him in at least two works, including Pueblo Son from the same exhibition.
