As a kid, I used to sit on the back porch right around dusk each day and just listen to the coyotes howling. To some, this might have seemed like nothing more than desert dogs being annoying. To me, I was and still am captivated by the songs that they sing to each other. As they communicate with each other each night, I would pretend that they were singing just for me.
