Little Deer Returns to the Mountain II

This meaningful work celebrates the resilience of nature and the enduring spirit of the land. Inspired by the return of wildlife to the mountains surrounding Santa Clara Pueblo after devastating wildfires swept through much of the region's ancestral forests, the sculpture symbolizes renewal, healing, and hope. The green pyramid-shaped steps at the base represent new growth, emerging grasses, and the gradual restoration of mountain vegetation.
