To the Ends of the Earth

Stainless steel, edition of 35, 19"h x 21"w x 17"d, Item No. 19021,

Arctic Terns take on the longest migration of any animal on earth. Every year they fly from the Arctic to the Antarctic continent and back again traveling upwards of 50,000 miles every year. The literally go to the ends of the earth in order to nest and raise their chicks. Inspired by the tern’s sacrifice, I adopted the tern as a symbol of my children; marking my sculptures with a small wing in remembrance of those that I care about and how far I would go for them.
