I feel like these words have been passed down through generations, maybe even as far back as the dinosaurs. In our communities, it can be hard for the younger generations to truly listen. I imagine this is a dinosaur elder, screaming at the top of his lungs, warning everyone of an incoming comet. He’s telling them, 'Listen! Hurry! Climb into the cave, save yourselves!' This piece is about the importance of listening, especially when it comes to the wisdom that’s been passed down through time. Sometimes, those warnings are the key to survival.
