Fresh Off the Rez

Where we come from is so different from the rest of the United States, and stepping into the outside world can sometimes bring out a few cocky personalities. This guy looks like he just bought himself a new hat and is strolling around town, feeling cool and showing off. After years of being at the Indian Market in Santa Fe, I’ve seen a lot of newcomers roll in with that same 'fresh off the Rez' vibe — full of confidence, yet still figuring things out. This character is a subconscious reflection of the personalities I’ve encountered over the years.
