Dark Knight

This piece was deeply inspired by the subconscious memories of growing up with my dad. One of my earliest memories is watching *Batman: The Animated Series* with him and seeing old comic books scattered around the house — especially in the bathroom. It’s funny how sometimes when I’m creating these Ugly Pie paintings, I don’t fully understand them until later on, like my subconscious is trying to tell me something. And then, one day on the road, it all makes sense. This one feels like a reflection of those moments, those early connections to the darker side of heroes and stories.
