In my tribute to Angela Hill, as in all of my works, I have used ephemera— ie post-consumer waste—from all over the world, including a Mexican LaLucha póster from Juarez; Muy Thai posters from Chiang Mai; sugar in the raw packaging; a “cage free” egg carton; a ticket from the new Civil Rights History Museum; and, best of all, a torn poster from a club in Sydney with the words “the Drop”.
