I just found a beautiful print by you, Tony Abeyta - and it is called Return to Red Mesa. It is so riviting to me - can you tell me something about the painting?

Teresa Vavages fromAZ says...

Hi There,
I am amazed at your work. First it was your picture on the cover of a magazine and I wondered who it was. Then I searched you on the web and your art is FANTASTIC. I\'ve never seen anything like it! I\"m an artist myself-an amateur one-but I would love 2 B as good as U! You are so Gifted!

Karen L. Esquibel once (Pino) says...

Tony,
I was thinking whatever happened to my pal from school days. We both lived in Viro. I googled you and there you were. If you remember you used to draw alot of stuff for me and I used to tell you that you were going to be famous. You would laugh and say you're so crazy!! It is so wonderful to see you, u look just the way I remember you!!

Ken Goodhue-McWilliams says...

You continue to amaze me! I so treasure the Tony pieces that I have collected over the years. When people visit they are amazed that these pieces are from one artist. Always elevating your art to a new level -- and now jewelry. Isn't it time for another retrospective?

Diane and Jay Carpenter says...

Tony,

We are so happy to know you and look forward to having your painting in our living room. Pancake breakfast again anytime you can make it !

Cheryl Ball says...

I think your art work is exquisite. It's different from the Northern native art work. I'm a native american also and I find your art work very inspiring and interesting. You're a very purdy man by the way.

Alicia from Fort McDowell, AZ ;-D says...

Hey stranger!!! How are you doing? I hope all is well with you and your children! Anyway, i was admiring your artwork and your picture on this page. Your artwork is creatively brilliant and your picture, well i would have to agree with the other ladies....you are still handsome as ever!

paz says...

I hope you don't mind that I love to reference your art into my paintings, which are meager indeed when compared to your beautiful artwork. You inspire this sixty-five year-old Pojoaque woman to start painting again when the woes of my world crash into my peace and my spirit is weak. Thank you.

cory vigil says...

Dear Tony,

I've only "met" you through your videos, which I find myself searching for after seeing the "Underworldness" one at the Heard Museum. I'm deeply touched by your art in all its forms, but particularly the black and white. I dabble in many art forms (mostly weaving), but your work has actually inspired me to paint for the first time in my life. It's wonderful that you can talk with your audiences while creating such incredible stuff without missing a beat. Thank you for all your beautiful, inspiring work, and please come back to SOFA Chicago next year so I can come to see you!

shawn demarest says...

Just came across this. Man, these are beautiful! I hope to see in person soon. We were in the same program at Lacoste. Anyway, really cool to see what you've been making - or what has been made through you. Cheers!

Ken Goodhue-McWilliams says...

Dear Tony--

Happy Birthday! keep making your wonderful art that touches the depths of our spirits and gratitudes.
