"Fallen Oak Leaves"
This is a piece which I am very pleased with. Fall is my time of year for introspection and contemplation of change and impermanence.

Various greens turn the most awesome display of reds, yellows and oranges, a loud warm display of awe before they drop. As we begin to bundle up, trees unclothe themselves dropping their colorful garments till they lay in mass everywhere, as we swish and crunch them under our feet in the woods. These fallen ones become the very humus the trees depend upon in the spring for nutrients of new growth.

So death feeds life and the circle returns.
