Namingha fluently weaves the old and new in this rhythmic and colorful journey. A vibrant piece, the musical event is composed with paint and clay. A foundation of the strong bass and ancient beats of a drum is layered with other nimble and thin instrumental abstractions. The rhythmic imagery, with a distinct and strong cadence at the base, shifts to a more fluid tempo, and at the apex of the polished curve transitions to the complex and detailed geometries of jazz.
