This piece was created in reflection of the abuse of Alcohol among many people and the suffering that it brings. In this painting you will find the source in which is the bottle. Around the source is segments of days and night which were lost to this disease. The corn covering the pot represents a healing or growth from that disease. The lines below the bottle represent the roots of our lives. The hole in the bottle is symbolic among the people of the southwest. A hole was placed in a vessel to destroy the spirit within. In this message the spirit within this source was destroyed and with it came forth new life.
