Franz was originally created as a ghost dancer. I felt the ned to change, so I made him a new outfit in honor of my great great grandfather Tom Edmo, son of Arimo, a Lemhi Shoshone Chief. Tom Edmo had also been chief of the Ft. Hall Indian Reservatioin Police Force at the turn of the century. Franz's ghost dance regalia is kept with him in the parflech trunks, consequently making him the only doll with two outfits. This piece will be available for purchase at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 16 in our Santa Fe gallery location during our Blue Rain Gallery Indian Market. Can't make it to the show? Please contact the gallery for more information or to be placed on the reserve list.
