This sculpture will be available for purchase on Friday, July 25th at 4pm in the gallery. Santa Justina was a virgin martyr. She was killed during the Roman emperor Diocletian’s persecution of early Christians in 304 C.E. She is the patron saint of the city of Padua, Italy. The sword, the dragon and the unicorn are some of her symbols.
