This piece was inspired by Raven Dreaming. Here, the raven sits on a tall corn stalk, that rises into the night sky through the clouds of the setting sun. On the side is a ladder of bones, referring to the past. The raven, the trickster, thinks about making a nest from the red thorns. It is signed in the clay at the bottom ring "DR-B 07".

This is a very interesting piece. All things are inter related with nature, human form and the crow from the animal world. The subtle colors are beautiful and the bone-like rungs of the ladder are so connected to the past. I can't say any more until Deborah goes into her articulate speaking about it. I hope she will do that.
